The Lady Mavs Varsity Tennis Team successfully beat Spartanburg to clinch the AAAA Upper State Championship on Nov. 6 at the Palmetto Tennis Center in Sumter, SC!  The team reigned over Spartanburg, 4-2. The Upper State Champion Mavs played Lower State Champions, Wando, on Saturday and narrowly lost the state championship to the lower state team, 4-2.  The Lady Mavs ended their outstanding 2009 season with a 17-3 record. Go Lady Mavs!

  Lady Mavs Tennis Team is Headed to State Championships!!!

The Lady Mavs Varsity Tennis Team prevailed over T.L. Hanna Tuesday, Nov. 3rd, to advance to the State Championship Match this coming weekend, Nov. 6-7 at the Palmetto Tennis Center in Sumter, SC.  The team beat T.L. Hanna, 6-0. The Region champion Mavs are 15-2 for the season. The Lady Mavs will play Spartanburg on Friday at 4 p.m. for the Upper State Championship and hope to advance to play for the AAAA Girls Tennis State Championship on Saturday. Come out and support your Lady Mavs Tennis Team!

Lady Mavs Beat Blythewood

to Move Forward in the Playoffs

 

The Lady Mavs Varsity Tennis Team played well on 10/29, prevailing over the Blythewood Bengals Tennis Team to advance in AAAA playoffs.  The team defeated Blythewood in all seven lines. Go Lady Mavs!

Lady Mavs Advance in the Playoffs

The Lady Mavs Varsity Tennis Team advanced in the playoffs Oct. 28th with a win over Greenwood.  The team handily beat Greenwood, winning all seven lines. The Region champion Mavs are 14-2 for the season. The team moves forward in the playoffs with a second match Thursday, October 29th, at 5 p.m., against Blythewood at the Mauldin High courts.  Come out and support your Lady Mavs Tennis Team!

The Lady Mavs Varsity Tennis Team won second place overall at a high school invitational tournament at the Belton Tennis Center in Belton Oct. 10-11th.

Lady Mavs Tennis Team Wins Big

at High School Invitational Tournament

The Lady Mavs Tennis Team kicked things off in a great way by scoring a big win at the Girls High School Invitational Tennis Tournament held this past weekend at Furman.  Mauldin earned top honors, winning first place over seven other area high school teams including Riverside, J.L. Mann, Greenville High, Christ Church, St. Joseph's, Southside and Eastside. Greenville News story
